Howdy, I’m Amalie and I have created this blog for parents, nanny’s and early childhood teachers. I have my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood and have over twelve years experience in the industry. I’m from the Hibiscus Coast, just North of Auckland, New Zealand and now live in Melbourne, Australia. I have a 9 month old son Marley with my partner Milosh.
Now I’m a stay at home Mum I am sharing more about my time at home with my son, what we love to do, sharing activities and provocations I do with him, I’m passionate about early childhood and helping people understand what children are learning as they play. One of my favourite quotes,
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” – Fred Rogers
I’m Reggio and Montessori inspired, and look forward to getting back into the classroom one day but for now this blog is my creative outlet and I look forward to sharing my DIY projects, kids fashion, parties, kids interiors and decor, recipes, my experience of coping with motherhood, products I love and anything else interesting I may find.
I’m looking for ECE centres, small businesses, and anyone that want to collaborate, please do not hesitate to send me a message!
This is just my way of sharing some of my many ideas for you to do around the house or at a childcare centre. Follow me to get ideas and inspiration to get involved with your children, because KIDS ARE THE BOMB DIGGITY!
Hi there,
You showcase some great kids products on your blog.
I was hoping you could have a look at my print range at littlebigbravo.com.au and ever consider including one of my prints in a blog post or in a mood board?
Look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Zulejha
